PRESENTATION ON THE COSMETIC SECTOR IN INDIA

Barcelona, March 13, 2019. The weight of the personal image is increasingly relevant throughout the world and India is no exception. The cosmetic sector is an industry in full growth in the Asian country and with figures that show that it will continue to be for the next few years. The increase in purchasing power in large cities, the thickness of the middle class or the westernization of beauty canons are some of the factors that favor new business opportunities for Catalan companies. These are some of the conclusions drawn during one of the sessions of the “Focus Asia the framework of the International Business Days” of ACCIÓ.

We find international companies that are adapting their products for the Indian market and companies that are westernizing,” says Bose.
