Barcelona, March 5th, 2019. Beauty Cluster Barcelona has organized for the first time a benchmarking mission to Mexico City to learn about the opportunities that this market offers within the framework of the European Project Cosmetics4wellbeing, in which France also participated (Cosmetic Valley and France Cluster), Romania (Transylvania LifeStyle Cluster), and Portugal (Beira Baixa Business Association).
This mission has been dedicated to SMEs in the cosmetics and perfumery sector, bringing together entrepreneurs from the four countries mentioned in the Mexican capital who, for 3 days, were able to:
- Get an overview of the Mexican market
Make an institutional visit to the European Delegation in Mexico Access a session with a regulatory expert - Meet the most important players in the sector
- Visit relevant companies of the Mexican market
- Make a store tour in the main cosmetic channels
All activities allowed attendees to obtain a broad vision of the Mexican cosmetic and perfumery market in order to make strategic decisions about the ability of their companies to internationalize and export to the Latin American country.
