THE GREEN BEAUTY CONGRESS HELD

Barcelona, ​​June 11st, 2019. The Beauty Cluster Barcelona and Mentactiva have organized the Green Beauty Congress – II Forum of Natural Cosmetics in Lleialtat Santseca. This meeting aimed to share information and discuss the strategy and marketing of natural product, regulation, formulation and market.

More than 120 professionals from the entire value chain of the beauty sector attended this day, which began with an analysis of the natural cosmetic sector by the Beauty Cluster Barcelona. Where they knew the status and evolution of natural products, and an X-ray of the characteristics of the consumer of natural cosmetics in Spain.

The day continued with the intervention of Ambra Orini, partner and co-director of The Beauty Makers, who told us about the national and international trends of the green cosmetic sector from a vision of positioning, launching and storytelling of brands.

Likewise, there have been cases of success of natural products of the company Phergal by the hand of Fernando Pérez, Export Area Manager of the company. Also the certification protocols for natural products, explained by Daniel Subirana Product Manager of CAAE.

During the session Celia Campos, C & U Assesors, has influenced the current regulation on natural cosmetics and how companies should implement it for the development of any product. In addition, at the round table held with different professionals in the marketing sector, prescribers, formulators and influencer, the importance of brand transparency and the need for dynamic and bidirectional communication between the consumer and the company has been highlighted.

The Green Beauty Congress has given the opportunity to all attendees to know different cases of vanguard in the formulation, packaging and development of natural beauty products thanks to the presentations of Ürbag, Vytrus Biotech, Inquiaroma, Quimibios and Naturethic.

Finally, the day ended with the celebration of the sensory tour on formulation of natural cosmetics and its applications “Mentalab” organized by Mentactiva. During this dynamic the attendees have been able to know what characteristics make formulations unique and how to create formulas that surprise and fall in love with the consumer. In addition, they have explained how it is possible to obtain stable formulas that offer the same sensory characteristics as synthetic cosmetics.
